CAST FROM THE FACE OF BORIS KARLOFF THE KING OF THE MONSTERS
         This is an enhanced life mask to honor BORIS KARLOFF in the role of the monster from the film SON OF FRANKENSTEIN (1939). Karloff recreated his most famous role for the third time in THE Son of Frankenstein. I offer Karloff as the monster from all 3 films check out the diferences and collect them all. How did the great Jack Pierce vary the make up for the SON Film, there are many diferences that you can see in this mask, Karloffs age 9 years older than the release of Frankenstein determins the look of the Monster in The Son of Frankenstein he is fater, puffier and more wrinkled. The hair is different from the other 2 . The eyelids are heavier. the bolts have a larger surface to glue to Karloffs neck. The forehead has a diferent shape and the scar is shaped diferently. The Monster sports his famous flece vest. To many this is the classic image of the Frankenstein Monster.

This started as an actual life mask taken from the face of Boris Karloff in the 30s then it has been sculpturaly enhanced by artist Erick Erickson to duplicate the Make up effects created by Jack Pierce. This creates an acurate historic display that is very impresive. Great for a Home Theater Room.
